This PhD portfolio, completed at Bangor University, explores engagement in technologically mediated music through a collection of acousmatic compositions and a written commentary. The research investigates how listeners interact with and respond to electroacoustic music, examining the perceptual and aesthetic dimensions of the listening experience in the context of technologically produced sound.

A Gantt-like sequencer that lives inside Ableton Live.
moon.hands.core is a Max for Live device that streamlines automated event sequences within Ableton Live. Using a Gantt-like timeline, you build Events as blocks to construct and conceptualise complex musical forms — looping, scene triggering, and whole-arrangement playback, all from one interface. Developed with elian.studio.

Composer, sound designer of acousmatic and instrumental music.
His musical training started at the age of 5 with classical piano and guitar lessons. He later furthered his studies at Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge-UK) graduating in 2005, and continued his studies in Greece until 2008.
In 2010, he received his MMus in composition with distinction at Bangor University (Wales) where he undertook his PhD studies (Sonic art and Composition) with Prof. Andrew Lewis after being awarded with the 125th Anniversary Scholarship "Digital Sonic Art".
He has been also awarded with the Parry Williams prize 2010 (Bangor University).
He worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant of Music Technology in Bangor University (2010-2013).
He was awarded with a Ph.D in Composition, Electroacoustic Composition and Sonic Art by the University of Bangor in 2016.
